Job Description :

• Maintain daily up to date records for management evaluation and information purposes by collecting or logging data for information into special designated log sheets.
• Performs routine maintenance on boiler equipment and system.
• Control and monitor boiler operation to make sure all parameters are within safe limits.
• Monitor boiler system to ensure it operating safely and properly; facilitates periodic boiler cleaning.
• Conduct/carry out trouble shooting operation/activity on designated problem machines and rectify such problems.
• Provide assistance to the maintenance crew in other support activities.
• Accompany relevant authorities during official inspection of equipment.
• Carry out routine chemical analysis of water and level of fuel supply.
• Ensure that the water storage tanks are sufficient and safe for the boiler to operate.
• Familiar with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
• Work as a team with the Shift Manager and FHS staff to ensure fiber feeding to the boiler is correct and enough for the boiler.
• Work with strict compliance to company rules and regulation.
• Maintain strict safety and housekeeping practice at all times.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures [SOP] for all equipments based on manufacturers’ recommended operating procedures covering all main and auxiliary plant and equipment
• Monitor the operations of the power plant equipments during the shift in safely manner.
• Experience working in a palm oil mill and power plant will be an added advantage.
• Ensure compliance to Health& Safety procedures as require by FMA/DOSH/EC

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
