Job description:
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and onboarding.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews.
- Coordinate with department heads on manpower planning and hiring requirements.
- Maintain recruitment databases and employee records.
- Liaise with recruitment agencies, job portals, and educational institutions when necessary.
- Prepare employment offers, appointment letters, and related HR documentation.
Training & Development
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Identify training needs in collaboration with department managers.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and evaluation reports.
- Assist in developing orientation and onboarding programs for new employees.
- Support employee development initiatives and career progression planning.
- Monitor training effectiveness and prepare periodic training reports.
HR Administration
- Support day-to-day HR operations and employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
- Assist in performance appraisal and employee engagement activities.
- Support disciplinary procedures and HR policy implementation when required.
- Handle HR correspondence and general administrative duties.
Academic Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Candidates with relevant HR certifications or training coordination experience will have an added advantage.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in recruitment, training coordination, or HR operations.
- Good knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HR systems and recruitment platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Good command of English and Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
