Young Nautilus is a team of passionate educators dedicated to delivering impactful enrichment programmes that connect participants with nature and inspire positive lifestyle changes. Through outdoor experiences such as intertidal walks at Changi and mangrove explorations at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, as well as hands‑on lab sessions like squid dissections and assembly programmes featuring live marine animals, we engage communities in meaningful encounters with the environment. Moving forward, our programmes will focus on three key pillars: Biodiversity & Conservation, Climate Change & Sustainability, and Heritage & Culture - to nurture awareness, foster stewardship, and strengthen connections between people and Singapore’s natural heritage

Job Title - Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive Work Type, Part time
Work Arrangement - Hybrid; primarily remote, with 1 onsite filming day per week (locations include Changi Beach, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, and other programme sites)
Qualifications - A’ levels / Diploma / Undergraduate Student/ Fresh Graduates

Purpose of Job
We are looking for a creative and purpose-driven Digital Marketing & Media Executive to help bring Young Nautilus's mission to life online! You will tell the story of our outdoor adventures, live animal encounters, and conservation programmes through compelling content across social media.

This role is ideal for someone who cares about nature, loves crafting engaging visuals and stories, and wants to make a genuine difference through digital storytelling

Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Environmental Studies, or a related field
- Proficient in reel production, photography, and videography, with ownership of a DSLR or mirrorless camera
- Prior social media or content creation experience (internship experience welcomed)
- Proficient in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar editing and design tools
- Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Strong written English; able to produce warm, engaging, and mission-aligned copy
- A genuine interest in the environment, conservation, or outdoor education is a strong plus
- Comfortable working outdoors in Singapore's weather at coastal and wetland locations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Duties & responsibilities
- Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with upcoming programmes, campaigns, industry trends and social media best practices.
- Contribute fresh, creative ideas for campaigns and storytelling around Young Nautilus's three programme pillars
- Manage all social media accounts: scheduling posts, responding to comments and enquiries, and growing our online community.
- Track and review performance analytics across platforms, sharing regular insights to guide content strategy and improve audience reach.
- Create and publish 2 content pieces per week across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok - including reels, short-form videos, graphics, and captions that reflect our programmes and values.
- Craft and publish LinkedIn posts twice per month, positioning Young Nautilus as a thought leader in nature education and community engagement.
