Job Title: Compliance Officer – Licensed Asset Management Firm (Labuan)

We are a licensed asset management firm based in Labuan, regulated by Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA). We specialize in fund management and capital market activities, serving institutional and high-net-worth clients across Asia.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure our firm operates in full adherence to LFSA regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily compliance matters related to Labuan Financial Services and Securities Act 2010, Labuan AML/CFT laws, and LFSA guidelines.

- Review and update compliance manuals, policies, and procedures.

- Perform ongoing KYC, CDD, and transaction monitoring for clients and counterparties.

- Conduct periodic internal compliance reviews and risk assessments.

- Prepare and submit regulatory filings, suspicious transaction reports (STRs), and compliance reports to LFSA.

- Provide compliance training to staff and act as the primary contact for regulatory inquiries.

- Monitor investment restrictions, code of ethics, and personal account dealing rules.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Minimum 3–5 years of compliance experience within a Labuan entity, licensed fund manager, or financial institution regulated by LFSA or Securities Commission Malaysia.

- Strong knowledge of LFSA regulations, AML/CFT requirements, and cross-border fund structures.

- Relevant certification (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, or LFSA compliance training) is an advantage.

- Detail-oriented, high integrity, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.

- Excellent written and spoken English.
