The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel welcomed, and maintaining smooth dining flow. This role focuses on table service, customer assistance, serving food & beverages, and maintaining cleanliness.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and professionally.
- Present the menu and provide recommendations when needed.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders via POS/tablet (no payment handling).
- Ensure customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
- Check on customers during dining to ensure satisfaction.
B. Food & Beverage Service
- Serve food and drinks safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper table setup with cutlery, condiments, and napkins.
- Refill drinks or respond to customer requests promptly.
- Handle takeaway/dine-in service with neat and organized flow.
C. Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Keep the dining area clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Clear and reset tables quickly after customers leave.
- Maintain cleanliness at service stations.
- Follow all hygiene and safety guidelines.
D. Coordination & Team Support
- Communicate clearly with Kitchen Team to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in restocking cutlery, cups, condiments, and napkins.
- Support supervisors in daily operations when required.
- Assist in opening/closing dining area setup (but not cashier tasks).
3. REQUIREMENTS
Skills & Experience
- Experience in F&B or customer service is an advantage (not required).
- Good communication skills; pleasant and friendly personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic POS entry for order-taking only (no payment handling).
Attitude
- Service-oriented, polite, and positive.
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Team player with good working discipline.
- Able to work shift, weekends, and public holidays
