1. Position & Job Scope
- Position Title: Assistant Engineer
- Work Location: Lot 159, Jalan Johan 2/9, Kawasan Perindustrian Pengkalan 2, 31550 Pusing, Perak
- The Company reserves the right to transfer or second you to any other department, branch, or subsidiary based on business requirements.
- Job Responsibilities:
o Measure workpieces and translate dimensions into engineering drawings.
o Prepare technical drawings for fabrication and machining processes.
o Arrange materials and components required for fabrication.
o Design metal structures and basic machinery components according to project requirements.
o Coordinate with production teams to ensure project milestones are met.
o Plan, coordinate, and manage assigned engineering projects from design to completion.
o Liaise with production and assembly teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility.
o Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with client specifications and company standards.
o Prepare job reports, documentation, and assist in project cost estimation when required. the role.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and understanding technical schematics
- Knowledge of engineering principles, industry standards, and quality assurance practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in project planning, and effective time management
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills for cross-department collaboration
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations in an industrial setting
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is advantageous
