Role Description

On-site role for a Health Safety Environment Assistant Engineer, located in Senai. The incumbent will assist in developing and implementing health and safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory health and safety standards. Responsibilities will also include performing risk assessments, supporting safety training programs, and contributing to the company’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives. The role involves promoting workplace safety culture and ensuring compliance at all operational levels.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Health & Safety practices, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) protocols, and Occupational Health principles
• Knowledge of Safety Engineering procedures and the ability to implement safety measures effectively
• Experience in organizing and providing safety and EHS-related training programs
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Relevant certifications in Occupational Safety and Health are an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field
• Capability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in a dynamic and fast-paced setting
