Job Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain workplace safety programs in compliance with Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia (DOSH) regulations and company policies.
• Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits; identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform risk assessments (HIRARC) and support accident/incident investigations.
• Monitor contractors, vendors, and staff adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Assist managers in planning, scheduling, and coordinating operation activities.
• Maintain operation documentation, including reports, records, and progress updates.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant workplace safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other relevant safety legislation.
• Familiarity with HIRARC or safety management systems is an advantage.
• Able and willing to travel to multiple sites or locations as required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
