Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen operations and service flow of the inpatient and outpatient sections consisting of cafeteria, function, clinics, operation theatre, Drs Lounge, Dialysis and Oncology.
• Assist in supervising to maintain standards in quality, hygiene and healthy meals for all guests.
• Coordinate with the service personnel ensuring that prompt service is always maintained.
• Observation and monitoring clean hygienic practices and working stations.
• Always ensuring practice on culture of professionalism among employees.
• Supervising the food plating tray line ensuring food prepared is based and presented appropriately with the establish garnishing as per the standard dish /recipe while adhering punctuality of serving time.
• Demonstrates good training skills to portray mentorship to subordinates while working closely with the Sous chef / executive chef.
• Attends meetings / briefings / trainings in the absence of the superiors or when delegated.
• Actively Participates and takes part in the sharing during roll calls.
• Portrays positive characters of being people oriented, responsible, energetic, and enthusiastic with the attitude of accepting weaknesses and willingness to learn.
• Exhibits to ensure work safety and ensure required / related training for kitchen equipment, tools and handling are carried out in upkeeping safe practices and staff monitoring on the ground.
• Must be willing to take over Superior’s responsibility whenever needed or delegated e.g., staff duty roster, market list etc.

Pay: RM1,653.67 - RM4,666.49 per month
