Boilerman Grade 2 / Grade 1 (Wood Manufacturing Industry)

About the Job

We are a wood manufacturing company looking for an experienced Boilerman Grade 2 or Grade 1 to operate and maintain our boiler system. This role is important to ensure safe, stable, and efficient steam supply for production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform routine inspection and basic maintenance of boiler equipment.
• Troubleshoot boiler issues and report major breakdowns to management.
• Maintain daily operation logs and safety records.
• Ensure compliance with DOSH regulations and company safety standards.
• Keep boiler room clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Assist in boiler servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
• Supervise and guide production support workers.
• Assign daily boiler operation tasks and monitor performance.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed by all boiler room staff.
• Assist in planning maintenance schedules and shutdown activities.
• Support production team by ensuring continuous steam supply.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess a valid Boilerman Grade 1 or Grade 2 Certificate/Permit recognized by DOSH Malaysia.
• Candidate must possess at least SPM/STPM, Professional Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in boiler operation or manufacturing environment.
• Experience in wood manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge in boiler systems, steam operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Able to operate and monitor boiler systems in a safe and efficient manner.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance work for boiler equipment.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
• Able to work on overtime, and long working hours when required.
• Responsible, disciplined, hardworking, and safety conscious.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.Able to work independently and also in a team environment.
• Applicants must be proactive, motivated, and able to work under pressure and deadlines.

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday
• 8.00 AM – 4.30 PM

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
