Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 1–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content, or a related role.
  3. Strong understanding and confident use of major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X.
  4. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify grammatical or spelling errors while maintaining high-quality written work.
  6. Good copywriting skills with the ability to craft engaging and platform-appropriate social media captions.
  7. Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Google Workspace. Basic design or video editing skills are an advantage.
  8. Analytical and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new tools, platforms, and digital trends.
  9. Experience supporting influencer campaigns, creator coordination, or stakeholder communication is an advantage.
  10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with clients and internal teams.
  11. Good written and verbal communication skills, including confidence in presenting ideas and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Eager to learn, proactive, resourceful, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  13. Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a keen interest in digital culture and social trends.

KPI/Success Metrics

  1. Social media performance: Growth in engagement, reach, follower growth, and content interactions across platforms.
  2. Content execution: Timely and accurate scheduling, publishing, and coordination of social content and campaigns.
  3. Copy & content quality: Consistency, accuracy, and alignment of captions and content with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  4. Reporting & optimisation: Timely preparation of reports and identification of opportunities to improve content performance.
  5. Community management: Responsiveness and professionalism in audience engagement and community interactions.
  6. Team collaboration: Effective coordination with internal teams, influencers, and stakeholders to support smooth campaign execution.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organised Social Media Executive with a passion for digital culture and content creation. In this role, you will support the day-to-day management of clients’ social media platforms by assisting with content coordination, publishing, community management, reporting, and campaign execution. You will also monitor platform trends, audience engagement, and competitor activity to help improve content performance and overall social media effectiveness.

  1. Support the planning, execution, and optimisation of clients’ and internal social media initiatives to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  2. Assist in managing clients’ social platforms by supporting content development, brand voice alignment, and platform-specific objectives.
  3. Execute social campaigns, coordinate content calendars, manage day-to-day publishing, and liaise with influencer partners where required.
  4. Prepare monthly and campaign reports covering content performance, audience engagement, and paid media results, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of social media content and assets.
  6. Stay updated on platform updates, social trends, and emerging digital opportunities, and share relevant insights with the team.
  7. Manage and grow online communities through timely engagement, audience interaction, moderation, and handling of community issues across social platforms.
