Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are looking for an organized, experienced store keeper to be responsible for all stock, staff management, and to check the store for any breakages or routine maintenance. Ensuring prompt utilization and accountability of stock. Control and track stock levels, timely ordering and verification of the supplies. Estimate food consumption, place orders with suppliers, schedule delivery and check the quality of deliveries.

Job Description

  • Keeping a record of purchase and restocking the store accordingly.
  • Ensuring that the store is kept clean and organized.
  • Assist in receiving all merchandise from suppliers.
  • Check all merchandise for discrepancies and damages.
  • Responsible of Receiving, Storing, and Issuing Food, Beverage, or Cleaning Products used by the Department on daily basis
  • Must participate in the Loading of all products necessary to the operation of the Food Dept.
  • Ensures requisitions are prepared and delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with the requisition timetable.
  • Ensure appropriate FIFO Rotation is in place in his area and report any issue to the Procurement Manager.
  • Must, according to schedule, participate in the cleaning of all storage facilities according to the Public Health procedures and standards.
  • Takes scheduled and perform physical inventory of the store for kitchen, bar & packaging according to the Procurement Manager instruction.
  • To ensure all recycle bottle, paper, boxes, tins, etc,etc to as per SOP.
  • To ensure all cash items must be settle daily upon receiving the goods
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements

  • Certificate, diploma or degree is required, more education and experience are generally preferred.
  • High level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Courteous, professional manner, strong customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy and strong typing skills, experience with accounting software may be required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to comply with all company, local, state, and federal store regulations.
  • Must be organized and punctual.
  • Well-presented and professional.
  • Ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
