Key Responsibilities:-

• Main responsibility is to maintain good condition of GCP operation.
• Coordinate with furnace shift leader/operator, understand furnace condition and make adjustment according to furnace requirement whilst not affecting GCP operation.
• Coordinate with HSE (Environment) to ensure off gas quality and GCP are in acceptable range.
• Discharge dust periodically and to ensure dust does not cause trip to chambers, scrappers, bucket elevators and silos.
• Monitoring and control GCP operation through Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
• Record and update relevant data in log sheets, bagging reports and GCP downtime in Microsoft Excel for data keeping.
• Coordinate with other departments (mobile equipment, sinter plant) regarding the transportation and storage of dust.
• Perform field inspection and able to detect abnormal condition of machinery or pneumatic device at site, hence repair what is possible if not handover to respectful department (maintenance, electrical & instrument).
• Perform housekeeping at GCP respected area to ensure safe working environment.
• Perform stock count on tools and consumables on site and request for new stock.
• Perform proper shift handover between team leader.
• Always ready to report duty for emergency case and shift substitution.

Job Requirements:-

• Candidate must possess at least minimum Diploma in any related field
• Have at least 3 years experience in the manufacturing environment
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (speaking and writing)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
