Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Engineer (Technical) to support our engineering and product development team. This role offers great exposure to design, project coordination, and real-world engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), product literature, brochures, and specifications for R&D, new product development, tenders, and RFQs
  • Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings for engineering and fabrication purposes
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support customer inquiries, tenders, and project proposals
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal fabrication teams to ensure design feasibility and execution
  • Conduct site visits and equipment inspections to support proposal development
  • Assist in cost optimization and continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to product development and enhancement based on customer needs and field performance
  • Provide technical support to sales, manufacturing, and project/site teams
  • Support Technical Lead and management on assigned projects and tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for 2D/3D design (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and deliver presentations
  • Able to explain technical ideas clearly and effectively
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes is an added advantage
  • Experience in product design and problem-solving is preferred
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and demonstrates leadership potential
