Bridge Data Centres Hiring! Full Time Assistant Manager, BMS in Selangor - Ricebowl

1.A good knowledge of power/energy metering in the data centre domain will also be an added advantage. Must be able to understand PUE and other efficiency calculations within the data centre space. Ability to correlate BMS data vs tenant power usage and presenting that into the customer portal.
2.An expert level working knowledge of at least two BMS or EPMS systems is preferred. Schneider EcoStruxure Building Operation ideally being one of them. The candidate shall be able to develop standards BMS templates that can be reapplied for engineering efficiency.
3.Develop schematic architectures for Bridge Data Centres BMS system in a modular concept and work with System integrators on deployment stages to commissioning stages.
4.Working with design team to ensure that equipment or room names are standardized per BDC standards.
5.Manage BMS alarms to ensure that alarms are delivered to critical operations staff during failures.
6.An expert level of system integration experience is required. The ability to interrogate multiple devices using open protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, is essential. Knowledge of PostgreSQL and webservices will be an added advantage. ·A good level of IP networks and windows server expertise is required. The ability to find and diagnose networking issues that impact BMS system functionality and provide a detailed resolution is essential.
7.Make recommendations for system level enhancements to eliminate potential problems.
8.Assures adherence to developed standards and policy through review of documentation,participation in commissioning activities.
9.Tests suitability of components for deployments (FAT)
10.Is a subject matter expert and trains others inside and outside of the group.

12.Provide logic and graphical programming for controls systems for the Operations enhancement.
13.Expert operating knowledge of control systems to conduct advanced diagnostics and repair/ maintenance. Critical to have experience of working in the data cent environment.
14.Participate in Customer meetings representing BDC as the SME across BMS and DCIM including direct Customer interactions to document customer requirements or fault find customer installation incidents.
15.Response to Customer RFQ/ Operation Inquiries.

Qualifications

•Diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, BMS, Automation, Data Centre Infrastructure Management (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)
•Minimum of 5 years of professional experience preferred in control system design, operations, maintenance, and project planning.
•Have experience working in a data centre environment.
•Good knowledge of controls systems and field device selection. (Valve, Actuators, Sensors, Differential Pressure Transmittals, etc)
•Understands system maintenance and is able to provide support.
•Lead various projects of various sizes.
•Ability to develop and implement BMS system related policies, procedures and best practices. Ensuring local ops team follow the standards.
•Effectively interacts with internal and external teams.
•Seasoned and experienced professional and shall be able to travel and will be on-call.
