Job Qualification

1. Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering or equivalent.

2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the PCB manufacturing environment focus on product development and tooling is an advantage.

3. Experienced in preparing, reviewing and verifying various reports as required.

4. Knowledgeable in problem solving, root cause analysis & diagnosing faults.

5. Possess good knowledge of new part development activities including tooling coordination, sample validation and drawing specifications.

6. Skilled in technical support communication with other sections and coordinating effectively with supplier.

7. Proactive in identifying improvement areas and drives improvement initiatives in ensuring process and quality is comply with established standards.

Job Description

1. To understand the product design concepts.

2. To handle new tooling fabrication and modification discussion with tool makers, part makers and mother factory designers.

3. To verify sample parts, comply with drawings specification in order to proceed with part approval.

4. To follow-up new part approval and delivery schedule is in accordance to new model/product schedule, to ensure smooth production launch.

5. To evaluate and confirm parts when determine eligibility for Special Approval.

6. To liaise with production in terms of technical support for process and quality improvement related to part design.

7. To participate in cost reduction activity with design center, supplier production and purchasing dept.

8. To support supplier and production in trouble shooting which involve part's quality or design where applicable

9. To communicate and follow-up with designer at the mother factory on countermeasure for part design problem.

10. To coordinate with all internal section when there are changes related to part change.

11. To ensure that all activity involve follow the procedure accordingly.

12. To motivate and educate the subordinate.

13. To comply and participate in all ISO14001, ISO9001, ISM, Compliance and safety related activities.

14. To comply to any additional responsibilities as and when assigned by superior.

Pay: RM3,700.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
