GoldenBay Hotel is seeking a committed and skilled Account Executive to join our team in Bintulu, Sarawak.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure the timely credit collections of all outstanding payments.
- Deliver accurate and timely invoices, statements, and schedules to customers. Prepare for audits and interact with auditors as necessary.
- Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved.
- Check documents, schedules and prepares payment vouchers, monitor debtor aging and brief supervisor on a monthly basis.
- Resolves purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
- Analysis invoices/expense reports and records entries to charge expenses to accounts and cost centres.
- Reconciles monthly bank statements and related transactions to verify vendor accounts.
- Processed work is reconciled by verifying debtor/creditor’s entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Verifies and posts account transactions to accounting ledgers.
- Assist in monthly stock take.
- Prepare monthly closing stock inventories values
What we're looking for
- Diploma/ Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar finance role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Proficient in financial reporting, accounting software and data analysis
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
