Job Summary

As a Electrician you will be responsible for installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems and fixtures in buildings. Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment/systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair of manufacturing and utility equipment/systems such as pumps, motors, control valves and cylinder.
• Support production activities at all times by ensuring minimum response times to equipment breakdowns and achievement of equipment availability targets.
• Required to do other maintenance work such as general repair, electrical according to standard.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance with contractors and vendors on work according to schedule maintenance, repair, shut down and overhaul works.
• Ensure maintenance work done comply with local regulatory, corporate safety and industrial standards.
• Able to provide simple report on downtime and ensure action follow up to prevent recurrence of breakdowns.

Job Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, or Vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of working experience as an electrician in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, motors, and control circuits.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical and automation systems.
• Knowledge of workplace electrical safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, overtime, or emergency call-outs when required.
