Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

To assist the Senior Operation Officer in the monitoring of Airside Operations and to ensure compliance with all related documents.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• To perform regular inspection on runway, taxiway and apron at least 4 times daily to ensure smooth and safe operations of aircraft movement
• To report any irregularities and defects on surface, AGL and other facilities to the relevant units immediately
• To ensure no obstruction to aircraft and vehicle movement on the movement area
• To ensure markings, signs and other related facilities are visible and in good conditions at all times
• To ensure surface are clean and clear from FOD for the safe operations of aircraft movement
• To ensure runway sweepers are serviceable at all times so that cleaning of surfaces can be carried out when needed
• To report any incident/accident to Head of Operations immediately
• To carry out any directives given by airport higher authority.

Key Challenges

• To ensure compliance with the Annex 14, MCAR and other relevant documents
• To handle and resolve all customers complaint
• To coordinate with other units as to ensure all facilities provided are in good working condition

Skills

• Good in interpersonal & communication skills
• Customer service oriented with pleasant personality
• Good in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English

Relevant Industries

• Possess at least 1-2 years basic knowledge on airport operations management with CGPA 2.8 and above

Education

Diploma in any discipline preferably in Airport Management Engineering / Management / Transportation
