About the role

As the Engineering Manager (Web & Mobile Platforms) at DW Morgan Philippines, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of innovative web and mobile applications that drive the company's digital transformation.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the end-to-end development of web and mobile applications, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous learning and improvement
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Implement and maintain agile software development processes, such as Scrum, to drive efficiency and transparency
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in web and mobile development, and drive the adoption of innovative solutions
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives
• Actively participate in the recruitment and development of the engineering team, ensuring the department has the necessary skills and expertise

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams
• Expertise in web and mobile application development using modern frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin)
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
• Proficiency in project management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
