About the role
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Junior Onsite IT Support to join our team at Gross Synergy Sdn Bhd in Ampang, Selangor. This is a contract role involves coordinating with clients, supervising installations, ensuring all system are deployed efficiently and are operational. The ideal candidate should possess technical skills, project management abilities and strong focus on customer service.
What you'll be doing
1.POS System Installation and Configuration
- Perform on-site installation and configuration of POS systems, peripherals and network components.
- Test and calibrate hardware and software to ensure systems are operational.
- Install and configure necessary security and software updates
2. Client Training and Support
- Provide training sessions for client's staff on using POS system, covering daily operations, troubleshooting and best practices.
- Address and resolve clients inquires during and after installation process.
- Respond promptly to IT-related incidents and service requests from clients.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
3. Project Coordination and Management
- Plan, schedule and execute POS installation for new clients or system upgrades.
- Collaborate with clients and internal team to ensure timely and accurate installations.
4. Technical Troubleshooting and Support
- Provide end-user support and training on various hardware and software applications and IT systems
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all support activities.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or senior technicians as needed.
- Collaborate with the wider IT team to implement improvements and new technologies.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
