Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent
- Basic cooking skills and understanding of kitchen hygiene
- Kitchen experience is preferred, but applicants with relevant culinary training may also apply
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Responsible, punctual and willing to learn
- Able to communicate and work well with the team
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Ensure every dish is prepared with consistent taste, quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at your workstation
- Follow food safety, storage and kitchen operating procedures
- Monitor ingredient usage and minimise food wastage
- Assist with stock receiving, checking and storage
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours
- Carry out other kitchen duties when required
