Requirements
Coordinate and manage the shipment of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to domestic and international destinations.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange transportation, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate shipping records, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
Monitor shipment progress, track shipments, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
Manage inventory levels related to shipping materials and supplies, ensuring adequate stock for operational needs.
Utilize ERP systems for order processing, inventory management, and shipment tracking.
Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting, communication, and data analysis.
Collaborate with internal departments, including production, sales, and procurement, to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations.
Address and resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Ensure all shipping activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and international trade laws.
Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin to facilitate clear understanding with diverse suppliers, partners, and team members.
Analyze shipping data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving measures.
Support the development and implementation of new shipping procedures and strategies.
Maintain a strong understanding of inventory control principles to minimize stockouts and overstock situations related to outgoing goods.
Prepare and present reports on shipping performance, costs, and key metrics to management.
Responsibilities

Prepare and process all necessary shipping documents, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and trucking companies to negotiate rates, book shipments, and track cargo movement from origin to destination.
Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels within the ERP system, conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data integrity.
Utilize ERP system functionalities for order processing, inventory management, and shipment tracking, generating reports on shipping performance, costs, and inventory status.
Collaborate with internal departments, including production, sales, and procurement, to ensure smooth coordination of inbound and outbound logistics and to resolve any shipping-related issues.
Monitor and analyze shipping costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, and implementing best practices in logistics management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies related to the handling and transportation of goods, including hazardous materials if applicable.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve shipping-related complaints or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure reliable and efficient supply chain operations.
