Key Requirements

1. Minimum SPM/STPM; Diploma in Automotive or any other related professional certificates

2. 5 years hands-on experience in window film and PPF installation

3. At least 1 -2 years leading, supervising, or training a technician team

4. Expert-level proficiency in cutting, wrapping, edge work, and defect-free finishing

5. Comfortable making quality-control judgment calls under time/schedule pressure

6. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin as an advantage for customer base coverage

7. Physically fit to perform installation work

Role Overview

Lead the installation floor at GEARIZO's first outlet — the automotive PPF, window film, and accessories concept behind Michelin Lifestyle Accessories. You'll start hands-on, personally leading WF/PPF installations while training and building the technician team. As we open our second outlet, the role grows with you — from setting up new teams to a supervisory position over complex, high-value jobs. A ground-floor opportunity to build a department and grow into multi-outlet leadership as we expand.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and personally perform window film and PPF installations, taking on the most complex and high-value jobs

2. Own final quality control - inspect every job before handover and stop vehicle release if standards aren't met

3. Build, train, and coach a team of technicians, setting the pace and standard for the workshop.

4. Assign jobs, manage technicians rosters, and keep turnaround times on track

5. Create, update, and enforce SOPs for all installation work

6. Recommend discipline, promotions, and technical hires based on skill and performance

7. Take part in creating technical content (installation demos, QC walkthroughs) for our social channels
