Possess at least an SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Science, Chemistry, or another relevant discipline.

Have a basic understanding of laboratory practices, including sample handling, preparation methods, and the use of laboratory equipment.

Be capable of adhering to laboratory safety requirements, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company regulations.

Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling, preparing, weighing, and documenting samples.

Be able to perform tasks independently while also working effectively with others and maintaining a clean, well-organised, and safe laboratory environment.

Support the receiving, identification, labelling, and preparation of laboratory samples.

Carry out sample preparation activities, including cutting, segregation, and the use of dividers and mixers.

Accurately measure and weigh samples before the digestion process.

Keep the laboratory clean, organised, and orderly by cleaning glassware, laboratory equipment, and work areas.

Handle basic administrative duties, including organising and maintaining files.

Check laboratory materials and supplies while providing support for inventory monitoring and management.

Conduct the sample digestion process in preparation for analysis.

Follow all laboratory safety procedures and comply with the company’s policies and requirements.
