Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in PCB layout design, trace routing based on hardware schematics, and component footprint creation.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of analog, digital, and RF circuits design, Gerber file generation, and PCB manufacturing specifications.

Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work closely with hardware board owners, Electronic Engineers, project teams, and external PCB vendors.

The Hardware Engineer – PCB Layout will be responsible for working with various engineering and project teams to design the PCB layout and trace routing based on the hardware schematic.

Responsible for PCB layout of analog, digital and RF circuits.

Responsible for creating library component, includes schematic components and PCB footprints.

Responsible for making Gerber, process related documents, and confirm engineering problems with PCB vendor.

Participate in project evaluation, evaluate the feasibility of PCB layout, and give reasonable suggestions.

Working with hardware board owner define the layout and trace routing.

Define the PCB design specification for PCB supplier manufacturing.

Interact with Electronic Engineers to meet system requirements of hardware designs.
