Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Setter to prepare CNC machines for production by setting up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters while ensuring quality requirements are achieved before production begins.

Requirement

• Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–4 years of CNC machine setup experience is preferred. 

• Proficient in CNC Milling or Turning machine setup. 

• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. 

• Experience with CAD/CAM software is an advantage. 

• Strong knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.

• Good troubleshooting and problem solving.

• Able to verify FAI inspection and fine tuning machine. 

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Able to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Set up CNC Milling machines according to production schedules. 

• Hands-on experience in setting up 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling machines is preferred and will be considered an advantage.

• Install cutting tools, fixtures, and workpieces. 

• Perform first-piece inspection before production. 

• Set machine offsets and tool wear compensation. 

• Troubleshoot setup and machining issues. 

• Support machine operators during production. 

• Ensure machines are properly maintained and ready for production. 

• Maintain setup records and WI documentation. 

• Follow company safety and quality procedures.
