Join Our Quality Assurance Team
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Johor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the required quality standards through effective inspection, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about product quality and enjoys working closely with production, engineering, suppliers, and other departments to solve quality-related issues.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control or product inspection within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
Familiar with quality inspection processes, defect identification and quality documentation.
Basic knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action methods.
Able to read engineering drawings and product specifications.
Experience using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges or other inspection equipment will be an advantage.
Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
Able to communicate effectively with different departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Responsibilities
Conduct incoming, in-process and final product quality inspections.
Ensure finished products meet company, customer and regulatory quality requirements.
Develop and maintain inspection standards, checklists and quality procedures.
Investigate product defects, non-conformities and customer complaints.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare inspection reports, quality records and non-conformance reports.
Monitor production quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with Production, Engineering and other departments to resolve quality issues.
Conduct product measurements and testing using appropriate inspection equipment.
Support internal, customer and supplier quality audits.
Assist in improving quality control processes and reducing product rejection rates.
Ensure all measuring and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
