Routine Maintenance and Repair

• Perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on port equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic control systems of cranes and heavy lifting machinery.

• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in port equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations.

Quality and Performance Monitoring

• Verify the quality of work performed by contractors and OEMs to ensure compliance with standards.

• Reduce unplanned maintenance by identifying corrective actions and root causes, applying appropriate technical solutions.

• Inspect and report any equipment abnormalities to the Team Leader or Planner during maintenance activities.

Equipment and Maintenance Management

• Highlight reconditioning requirements to the Team Leader when necessary.

• Maintain and manage personal tools and ensure they are in proper working condition.

• Administer preventive maintenance checklists and suggest improvements to work procedures and equipment reliability.

• Apply sound engineering knowledge and practical skills to improve technical performance and maintenance efficiency.

• Select and apply appropriate techniques, procedures, and engineering principles to perform assigned tasks safely and effectively.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

• Participate in improvement initiatives and maintenance-related projects as assigned.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time to support departmental goals and objectives.
