Proficiency in financial analysis techniques, including ratio analysis, cash flow modeling, and risk assessment.

Ability to interpret financial statements, assess business performance, and make informed lending decisions.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with SME clients and communicate complex financial concepts effectively.

Understanding of banking regulations, credit policies, and compliance requirements relevant to SME lending in Malaysia, including guidelines issued by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and other regulatory authorities.

Meet SME clients to understand their financing needs, business objectives, and financial constraints in order to recommend appropriate loan products to clients.

Facilitate full loan application process from initiation paperwork to approval, and liaising with internal departments.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the loan origination process.

Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting SME financing in Malaysia.
