Requirements
- Assist in coordinating daily logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
- Support inventory management processes by accurately tracking stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and identifying discrepancies.
- Liaise with transportation providers to schedule pickups and deliveries, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, bills of lading, and customs forms.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, warehousing) to understand their logistics needs and provide effective solutions.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports on key performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the logistics function to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Handle basic administrative tasks related to the logistics department, such as filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries.
Responsibilities

- Monitor and track shipments in transit, providing updates to relevant stakeholders and proactively addressing any delays or problems.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of logistics service providers, negotiating rates and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of logistics improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize supply chain performance.
