Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience as a Project Engineer or similar role

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls engineering, and building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus etc.).

• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

To gain an added advantage, you must satisfy the following requirements:

• Experience in programming and configuring BMS controllers and software platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Siemens Desigo, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure.

• Proven Experience as Project Engineer with a focus on Building Management Systems (BMS) in commercial or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Project Planning and Design:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.

• Develop detailed BMS designs, including system architecture, equipment selection, and integration with other building systems (HVAC, lighting, security, etc.).

• Prepare project documentation such as drawings, specifications, and technical proposals.

2) Implementation and Commissioning:

• Oversee the installation and configuration of BMS equipment and controllers.

• Program BMS controllers and software platforms

• Conduct system integration testing and commissioning to ensure performance meets design specifications and client expectations.

Project Management:

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion and within allocated costs.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to procure materials and equipment necessary for project execution.

• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and milestone achievements.

Client Relations:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

• Address client inquiries, concerns, and change requests in a timely and professional manner.

• Conduct training sessions for client staff on BMS operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations in all BMS designs and installations.

• Implement quality assurance measures to validate system performance and reliability.
