Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years and above of Regulatory Affairs experience in the food industry.
- Experience in export regulatory compliance will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
- Experience with product registration, food labelling, ingredient compliance and nutrition claims.
- Good understanding of food additives, contaminants, allergens and international food standards.
- Experience supporting export documentation and regulatory compliance for international customers.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
1. Export Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements for assigned export markets.
- Review and interpret country-specific food regulations, import requirements and market entry requirements.
- Assess product formulations, ingredients, food additives, processing aids, packaging materials, nutrition information and product claims against applicable regulations.
- Provide regulatory support during new product development, reformulation and product launches to ensure export readiness and compliance.
2. Product Registration & Regulatory Documentation
- Prepare, coordinate and maintain product registrations, notifications and renewals for export markets.
- Review and approve product artwork and labelling to ensure compliance with destination market requirements, including ingredient declarations, allergen statements, nutrition information, mandatory warnings, product naming and language requirements.
- Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, including Product - Specifications, Ingredient Declarations, Allergen Statements, GMO Declarations, Halal documentation, Certificates of Free Sale, Health Certificates and other technical documents.
- Support export documentation required by customers, distributors and regulatory authorities to facilitate product registration and customs clearance.
3. Regulatory Advisory & Business Support
- Monitor changes in food regulations across key export markets and evaluate their impact on existing and new products.
- Provide regulatory guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Marketing and Export Sales, throughout the product lifecycle.
- Respond to regulatory enquiries, complete technical questionnaires and support customer audits, regulatory inspections and certification activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely regulatory approvals and successful product launches.
4. Regulatory Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain regulatory databases, compliance trackers and document control systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date regulatory records.
- Ensure regulatory documentation is properly managed and readily available to support business and customer requirements.
- Identify and implement improvements to regulatory processes, documentation and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Keep abreast of international food regulations, industry standards and best practices to support the Company's export growth and continuous compliance.
