Requirements
Bachelor ’s degree in Purchasing/Engineering/Supply Chain or any related fields
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in Purchase department in manufacturing environment.
Ability to apply excellent functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to communicate in Malay, English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities
Sourcing for assigned commodities to meet cost, delivery and quality define by company requirement.
Process purchase order base on approved PR and filtered MRP report with ensuring accurate data into MAS 200 for PO creation and policy compliance.
Expedite orders – use reports to determine what items need expedited then follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Ensure that the purchase items status and assist in the resolution of shipment problem in SIOP meeting.
Effectiveness in communicating and expediting with suppliers to obtain information such as lead time, availability and delivery schedule.
Producing accurate, relevant and timely manner delivery of monthly purchased report.
Manage and update the Suppliers’ profile/data into MAS 200 system and made available in an accurate, relevant and timely manner.
Collaborate and interface with internal customers like engineering, production, quality and planning and other departments and suppliers in responding to supply issue. Ensure timeliness and effectiveness in resolving the issue
Determines and develops appropriate sources of supply and maintains cooperative working relationships with suppliers to stay current with trends, technologies, products and services.
Assists in coordination and management of cost reduction activities related to assigned Supplier base.

ERP System Proficiency – Skilled in processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate data in systems (e.g., MAS 200) in compliance with policies.
Supplier Coordination & Expediting – Proactive in expediting orders and ensuring timely delivery through close supplier follow-up.
Supply Chain Monitoring & Issue Resolution – Tracking order status and resolving shipment or supply issues effectively, including participation in SIOP processes.
Communication & Stakeholder Management – Strong communication with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on lead times, availability, and delivery schedules.
Reporting & Data Management – Producing accurate, timely reports and maintaining up-to-date supplier information.
Cross-functional Collaboration – Working effectively with engineering, production, quality, and planning teams to resolve supply challenges.
Supplier Development & Relationship Management – Identifying new sources, maintaining supplier relationships, and staying updated on market trends and technologies.
Cost Reduction & Continuous Improvement – Supporting cost-saving initiatives and improving procurement efficiency.
