Requirements
Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines.
Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years of comprehensive HR generalist experience, with proven leadership experience.
Multi-Site Experience: Demonstrated success managing HR operations across multiple physical office locations.
Industry Domain: Deep experience within Industrial Automation, Engineering, Manufacturing, Semiconductor, or Industrial Services.
Regulatory Expertise: Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and industrial relations best practices.
HR Digitization: Hands-on mastery of advanced Performance Management Systems and digital HR dashboards.
Core Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Mobility: Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly between Penang and Kuala Lumpur offices as required by the business.
Attributes: High level of professional integrity, confidentiality, and a solution-oriented approach thriving in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
Business Alignment: Partner with department heads to drive regional manpower planning and organizational development.
Policy Governance: Architect, review, and continuous improve corporate HR policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and workflows.
Financial Management: Oversee corporate HR budgeting, manpower reporting, and data-driven HR analytics for management.
Special Projects: Lead strategic HR initiatives and corporate transformation projects assigned by Management.
Technical Recruitment: Oversee end-to-end recruitment strategies to secure specialized automation and smart manufacturing talent.
Employer Branding: Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an automation employer of choice.
Performance Culture: Champion the Performance Management System (PMS), supervising continuous KPI reviews and appraisal cycles.
Capability Building: Lead Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to design technical and leadership upskilling roadmaps.
Financial Compliance: Maximize HRDC training fund administration, ensuring full compliance and successful claim submissions.
Culture & Retention: Design high-impact employee engagement initiatives, town halls, and strategic retention programs.
Labor Advisory: Serve as the principal advisor to management on complex employee relations and disciplinary matters.
Legal Standards: Ensure absolute corporate compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act and all prevailing labor regulations.
Data Integrity: Supervise the governance of highly confidential HR records, employee documentation, and regional reporting.
Oversee general office administration and workplace management across company locations.
Ensure effective management of office facilities, security, company assets, utilities, and administrative services.
Manage and review administrative vendors, service providers, and contracts where applicable.
Support office expansion, relocation, renovation, and workplace improvement projects when required.
