Requirements
A Senior Executive, Strategic & Corporate Affairs typically need to have the following qualifications:
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Public Administration, Law, Communications or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Affairs, CEO Office, Strategic Planning, Business Development, Government Relations or a related function.
Proven experience in preparing business proposals, contract proposals, MoUs, agreements and executive papers.
Experience engaging with Government Ministries, Government Agencies, Statutory Bodies, GLCs and corporate stakeholders is an advantage.
Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills with the ability to handle confidential matters and manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Experience in the tourism, transportation or hospitality industry and/or supporting a CEO or Senior Management is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities
Strategic & Corporate Support
Support the CEO in the planning, execution and monitoring of strategic initiatives, corporate projects and organisational priorities.
Conduct research, benchmarking and analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
Monitor progress of strategic projects and prepare report updates for the CEO.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving various departments to ensure timely execution.
Corporate Documentation & Proposal Management
Prepare, draft, review and coordinate business proposals, contract proposals, partnership proposals, Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs), Memorandum of Agreement (MoAs), service agreements and other corporate documents.
Prepare Board papers, management papers, briefing notes, reports, presentations and executive summaries.
Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, governance requirements and applicable legal or regulatory standards.
Maintain proper documentation, records and version control for all strategic and corporate documents.
Government & Stakeholder Relations
Coordinate official submissions, proposals and correspondence with Government Ministries, Government Agencies, Statutory Bodies, Government-Linked Companies (GLCs), local authorities and strategic business partners.
Facilitate meetings, engagements and follow-up actions with external stakeholders.
Build and maintain professional working relationships with key government and corporate stakeholders.
Executive Office Support
Manage confidential correspondence, reports and information on behalf of the CEO.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes of meetings and action trackers for executive meetings.
Coordinate the CEO's strategic meetings, corporate engagements and special assignments.
Ensure timely follow-up on decisions and action items arising from executive meetings.
Corporate Governance & Administration
Support the implementation of corporate governance, policies and strategic initiatives within the CEO Office.
Ensure proper filing, record management and confidentiality of sensitive corporate information.
Assist in coordinating internal approvals and documentation workflows.
Other Responsibilities
Undertake any other duties, special projects or assignments as directed by the CEO.
