Skill Requirements

• Able to read mechanical machining drawings; proficient in using measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with conventional and/or digital-display boring machines; capable of independent machine setup, tool alignment, and machining; familiar with boring processes. Willing to work overtime, rotating shifts, and rush order production schedules.

• Able to grind boring tools and drill bits; able to adjust cutting speed and feed rate based on material type. Experience in large-scale box component machining is an advantage.

• Candidates with CNC boring machine operation experience will be given priority consideration.

Basic Requirements

• No minimum education requirement; candidates with a background in mechanical machining or fitting trades are preferred.

• Good physical health; able to work rotating shifts and overtime in the workshop; hardworking and resilient.

• Familiar with machining safety operation procedures; no history of unsafe or non-compliant work practices.

• Strong sense of responsibility; attentive to product quality; willing to follow production instructions from team leaders and management.

• Operate floor-type boring machines and digital-display boring machines in accordance with machining drawings and process sheets to complete boring, milling, and drilling of workpieces such as boxes, machine frames, and flanges.

• Handle workpiece clamping and fixture setup, tooling selection, and cutting parameter adjustment; perform first-piece self-inspection and in-process patrol inspection to control dimensional tolerances and surface finish.

• Perform daily equipment cleaning and lubrication maintenance; promptly report machine malfunctions and fixture damage to the relevant parties.

• Fill in production records and quality inspection documents in accordance with requirements; monitor production progress and eliminate defective products.

• Comply with workshop safety production regulations and maintain 6S workplace management standards.
