Working Conditions
Based at project sites throughout Malaysia.
Five and a half working days per week (subject to project requirements).

Responsibilities
Job Purpose
To supervise, coordinate and monitor all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation works at project sites, ensuring all activities are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, quality standards and company procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Site Supervision
Supervise daily Mechanical & Electrical installation works at project sites.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site workers to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to the approved construction programme.
Ensure proper manpower allocation and productivity on site.
Inspect completed works before requesting consultant/client inspections.
2. Mechanical Installation
Supervise installation of pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, piping systems and associated mechanical equipment.
Monitor alignment, levelling, grouting and equipment installation.
Ensure mechanical equipment is installed according to manufacturer recommendations.
Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
3. Electrical Installation
Supervise installation of electrical cabling, cable trays, conduit, trunking and earthing systems.
Monitor installation of MDB, DB, control panels, PLC panels and instrumentation.
Ensure all electrical works comply with approved drawings and Malaysian standards.
Coordinate electrical testing, energisation and commissioning.
4. Drawing & Technical Coordination
Interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, single-line diagrams and schematic drawings.
Coordinate with Design Engineers regarding technical issues.
Report discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.
Ensure latest approved drawings are used at site.
5. Project Coordination
Attend site meetings with consultants, clients and subcontractors.
Coordinate interfaces between Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works.
Liaise with suppliers for material delivery schedules.
Resolve site issues promptly to minimise project delays.
6. Quality Control
Ensure all works comply with project specifications and Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
Conduct inspections before consultant inspections.
Verify materials received comply with approved specifications.
Ensure all inspection records are properly maintained.
7. Health, Safety & Environment
Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, Occupational Safety and Health Act 2022, CIDB requirements and company safety policies.
Conduct daily toolbox meetings where required.
Ensure workers wear proper PPE at all times.
Identify unsafe conditions and immediately implement corrective actions.
Report accidents, incidents and near misses.
8. Documentation
Prepare daily site reports.
Monitor work progress and update Project Manager.
Record manpower, machinery and material usage.
Assist in preparing progress claims.
Maintain site records, inspection forms and testing reports.
Coordinate as-built information.
9. Testing & Commissioning
Coordinate mechanical and electrical testing activities.
Witness equipment testing.
Assist consultants during inspections.
Ensure defects identified during testing are rectified promptly.
Support project handover documentation.
10. Material Management
Monitor site material usage.
Verify quantities delivered.
Prevent material wastage.
Coordinate with Purchasing Department regarding shortages.
Ensure proper storage of materials.
11. Company Compliance
Comply with company SOPs, Employee Handbook and Quality Procedures.
Safeguard company equipment, documents and confidential information.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
