Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
Experience in the construction industry will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices
Experience in handling foreign workers is highly preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and manage confidential matters professionally
Hands-on, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
Manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, and staff development
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
Manage recruitment activities to support manpower needs for office and construction projects
Handle employee disciplinary matters, grievances, counselling, and domestic inquiries when required
Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other relevant Malaysian labour laws
Oversee attendance, leave, employee records, and HR documentation
Manage foreign worker matters, including permits, renewals, and related documentation
Work closely with management and department heads on manpower planning and HR matters
Drive employee engagement and create a positive working environment
Prepare HR reports and provide recommendations to management
