Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in 3D Computer-Aided Design (e.g. Creo), Product Lifecycle Management and Enterprise Resource Planning systems
Advantage to be proficient in CREO/Pro-E and ERP systems such as SAP
Solid understanding of vacuum systems, thermal effects, motion control and mechanical architecture
Knowledge of ISO, CE and SEMI standards
Experience in structured problem solving and risk assessment
Strong ownership mindset and ability to collaborate across Mechanical and Electrical Engineering interfaces
Fluent English (CEFR B2)
Malaysian only
Responsibilities
Design and document reactor relevant components, mechanical assemblies including sheet metal, welded structures and motion components
Application of tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, and component calculations under various operating conditions (e.g., thermal loads, pressure)
Support the mechanical integration of automation tools
Select suitable materials considering vacuum compatibility, contamination control and corrosion risks
Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and support risk mitigation
Interpret structural simulation results and ensure compliance with regional safety requirements
Support manufacturing and cost reduction initiatives
Manage changes and configurations in Product Lifecycle Management and Enterprise Resource Planning systems
Contribute to prototype builds and support order-to-delivery engineering tasks
