About the role
Alam Kotamas Sdn Bhd, a growing company in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Account cum Admin Assistant to join their dynamic team. This full-time position will be responsible for handling various accounting and administrative tasks, playing a crucial role in supporting the overall business operations.
What you'll be doing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including invoicing, payments, and bookkeeping
Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other documents as required
Liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication
Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
Provide support to the management team as needed, contributing to the smooth running of the business
What we're looking for
Relevant experience in a similar accounting or administrative role, preferably within a small business or practice
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant computer applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team
A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
