About the role

Alam Kotamas Sdn Bhd, a growing company in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Account cum Admin Assistant to join their dynamic team. This full-time position will be responsible for handling various accounting and administrative tasks, playing a crucial role in supporting the overall business operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, including invoicing, payments, and bookkeeping

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other documents as required

  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication

  • Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document management

  • Provide support to the management team as needed, contributing to the smooth running of the business

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience in a similar accounting or administrative role, preferably within a small business or practice

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant computer applications
