Core Attributes:

• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about fashion design with a strong sense of fashion trends.

• Possess good aesthetic judgment in colors, layouts, garment printing, and craftsmanship.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Able to create fashion graphics, illustrations, and garment design concepts effectively.

• Knowledge of clothing printing methods (e.g., silkscreen, digital printing) and embroidery/applique techniques is an added advantage.

Language Proficiency (Essential Criteria):

• Trilingual fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Good command of listening, speaking, reading, and writing in all three languages.

• Able to understand design briefs, present creative concepts, and communicate effectively with teammates and clients.

Teamwork & Adaptability:

• A great team player with a strong sense of responsibility.

• Open to feedback and able to adapt design concepts based on requirements and improvements.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Textile Design, or related fields.

• Fresh graduates with a strong creative portfolio are highly encouraged to apply.

Portfolio Required:

• Applicants are required to submit their fashion graphics, illustrations, or design portfolio together with their resume.

Core Design & Creative Development:

• Create original garment graphics, placement prints, embroidery/stitching patterns, and brand logo designs.

• Develop creative concepts that align with brand identity and customer requirements.

Trend & Market Research:

• Monitor local and international fashion trends, including colors, patterns, and silhouettes.

• Ensure designs are market-ready, competitive, and aligned with the styles of major Malaysian clients.

Tech Pack & Production Specifications:

• Prepare detailed production design sheets (Tech Packs).

• Include accurate pattern proportions, Pantone color codes, and printing/embroidery process specifications.

Sample Follow-Up & Quality Checking:

• Collaborate with the internal development team to review print and embroidery samples/strike-offs.

• Ensure designs maintain high quality, production feasibility, and accuracy from concept to final product.

Project & Timeline Management:

• Coordinate with the team to manage multiple design projects and deliver design collections according to deadlines and quality standards.
