Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is an advantage, but fresh candidates are welcome to apply.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and committed to maintaining food quality and hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fried chicken according to the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all food products are cooked to the required quality, taste, and presentation standards.
- Monitor cooking times, oil quality, and equipment performance to maintain product consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and workstations.
- Ensure sufficient stock of ingredients and inform the supervisor of any shortages.
- Follow health, safety, and food handling guidelines at all times.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Shift Leader.
