Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Registers and assigns rooms to arriving guests ensuring that registration cards are correctly completed giving required information.
  • Maintains accurate records and informs other departments of arrivals, room changes, check-outs and special arrangements for VIP’s or group guests.
  • Handles check –out of departing guests using hotel standard procedures.
  • Prepares guest folio for each arriving and departing guest for the Front Office cashiering purposes.
  • Record the accurate accounting of all cash floats, takings, credit card vouchers and guest ledger accounts.
  • Maintains effective control of hotel room key handling.
  • Handles all incoming and outgoing telephone calls and records messages, faxes and forward to the relevant personnel immediately.
  • Provides information to guest and staff regarding current hotel events and special functions, hotel facilities and services.
  • Prepare daily revenue and occupancy reports.
  • Reconcile discrepancies and report irregularities to management.
  • Close and roll over the hotel system to the next business day

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month
