Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTIONS
1. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function.
2. Organizes, supervises, and directs the work of storeroom and central supply personnel engaged in receiving, issuing, and delivering supplies and equipment.
3. Assist Purchasing Manager in preparation of instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
4. Assist Purchasing Manger in analysis of market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability, and preparation of market analysis reports.
5. Assist Purchasing Manager to develop and improve system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
6. Assist in design, implement, manage and monitor procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
7. Recruit and maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a competitive price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
8. Confirmation of purchase orders and change notices.
9. Assist Purchasing Manager to reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
10. Assist in prepares and reviews contracts, bids, proposals and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price and acceptability of items to specifications.
