Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our in-house design team.
This role supports both tender-based projects and custom apparel production, working closely with the Printing & Sublimation Department to ensure artwork accuracy and production quality.

You’ll assist in preparing visuals, layout, and print files for uniforms, t-shirts, and corporate wear.

Location: Malaysia

Salary Range : RM 1,700 – RM 1,800

Age Requirement : 27 – 37 years old

Job Responsibilities :

• Design & Artwork Preparation
• Create and edit designs for uniforms, t-shirts, safety wear, and accessories.
• Prepare mock-ups, size charts, and visual presentations for customer approval.
• Convert artwork into print-ready files (AI, PNG, PDF) according to production requirements.
• Ensure all designs follow customer specifications and company branding guidelines.
• Maintain and organize digital design files and version control.
• Production & Job Sheet Coordination.
• Create, manage, and monitor job sheets:
• Open and prepare job sheets for new orders
• Submit for approval
• Follow up and update status with Production Manager
• Handle orders from : Walk-in customers, Direct instructions from management, Coordination with Production
• Work closely with the Printing & Sublimation Department to ensure : Colour accuracy, Correct material usage, Artwork compatibility for production, Assist during printing, sublimation, or embroidery setup when required.
• Liaise with internal teams or suppliers for artwork confirmation and sample approval.

Customer & Marketing Support :

• Assist in handling walk-in customers (basic marketing and enquiry handling).
• Provide simple explanation and suggestions for design, materials, and printing methods.
• Support social media visuals and marketing materials when needed.

Tender & Project Support :

• Prepare artwork and mock-ups for tender-based projects based on specifications.
• Assist in ensuring all design submissions meet client requirements and deadlines.

Requirements :

• Diploma or Certificate in Graphic Design / Visual Communication or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop
• Basic understanding of garment design and printing process is an advantage.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Good communication skills (internal team & customers).
• Able to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be based in Malaysia.

Additional Skills (Bonus) :

• Experience in marketing or customer handling
• Experience in sublimation process such as preparing design templates, running sublimation jobs.
• Basic machine maintenance
• Experience in garment printing: Silkscreen, DTF, Heatpress
• Experience working in apparel / textile industry
