Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)

Excellent cooking skills

An understanding to produce and blend ingredients

Knowledge of culinary arts

Willing to work according to shifts, weekends and public holidays.

To prepare central kitchen menu items in accordance to the standard recipes and ensuring quantity and quality of the foods are up to standards.

To work on daily central kitchen ingredients and work stations, eg butchering, vegetable cutting, storage and labeling.

Maintains established standards of sanitation, safety and food preparation and storage as set by the local and state health departments; maintains an orderly, sanitary, and safe kitchen.

Able to operate a variety of manual and/or automated kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, toasters, fryers, mixers etc.

Assures the proper care and maintenance of all food service equipment; identifies equipment needs for food preparation and service and assists in purchasing as needed.
