About the role

Thistle Port Dickson Resort is seeking an experienced Sales Manager (Wedding Planner) to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will be based in our stunning resort located in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. As the Sales Manager (Wedding Planner), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the wedding planning process, from initial client consultation to seamless event execution.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies to attract new wedding clients

2. Conducting client consultations to understand their vision and create customised wedding packages

3. Coordinating with various internal departments (catering, décor, entertainment, etc.) to ensure a seamless event experience

4. Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to secure the best deals for our clients

5. Overseeing the execution of wedding events, ensuring all details are attended to

6. Providing exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships with clients

7. Analysing event data and client feedback to continuously improve our wedding planning services

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in wedding planning or event management

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and vendors

3. Strong organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail

4. Creative problem-solving abilities and a flexible, adaptable approach to handling challenges

5. Proficient in using relevant event planning software and tools

6. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
