ey ResponsibilitiesClinical Care & Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases, conditions, and pathologies.
- Perform restorative, preventive, and emergency dental procedures including fillings, scaling & polishing, extractions, and other general dentistry treatments.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and long-term oral health outcomes.
- Perform minor oral surgical procedures, root canal treatments, and other interventions within the scope of general dentistry.
- Interpret radiographs and diagnostic findings accurately to formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records using the clinic’s digital EMR system.
Patient Experience & Preventive Care
- Build strong long-term dentist–patient relationships based on trust, empathy, and professionalism.
- Communicate treatment options, procedures, and pricing clearly to support informed patient decisions.
- Deliver gentle, attentive, and patient-centered care aligned with Alpro’s hospitality-driven healthcare experience.
- Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, preventive care, nutrition, and the relationship between oral health and chronic diseases.
- Support community outreach initiatives and oral health awareness programs organized by the clinic or Alpro Group.
Integrated Healthcare Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with doctors, pharmacists, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Support digital healthcare initiatives including teledentistry consultations and post-treatment follow-up services.
- Refer patients appropriately to dental specialists or medical practitioners whenever advanced or multidisciplinary intervention is required.
- Contribute ideas and support initiatives that strengthen Alpro’s vision of integrated family healthcare.
Clinical Governance & Operational Excellence
- Ensure full compliance with KKM, MDC, infection control, and clinical governance standards.
- Participate actively in Continuous Dental Education (CDE), clinical discussions, and internal training programs.
- Contribute towards achieving clinic goals related to patient satisfaction, treatment quality, and operational efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives involving SOP enhancement, workflow optimization, and patient journey experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC).
- Fully registered with MDC and possesses a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general or family dental practice.
- Fresh graduates with strong passion in community and preventive dentistry are encouraged to apply.
- Experience or exposure in Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry, Prosthodontics, or Aesthetic Dentistry is an added advantage.
- Strong clinical judgement, diagnostic capability, and patient communication skills.
- Passionate about preventive healthcare, patient education, and long-term community wellness.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional local languages or dialects are an advantage.
- Comfortable using digital dental systems, EMR platforms, and teledentistry tools.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
