Job Description

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemistry, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.

  • Entry-level position, ideal for recent graduates eager to launch a career in production and process engineering.

  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities, with a logical and analytical approach to identifying and resolving production issues.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and report on findings.

  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques to interpret production metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

  • Basic understanding of project management principles, including planning, execution, and monitoring of tasks.

  • A proactive attitude towards leadership development and a willingness to take on new challenges.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering collaboration and contributing to shared goals.

  • Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new manufacturing processes and technologies within a dynamic production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of new production processes and technologies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Monitor production lines, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

  • Participate in root cause analysis of production issues and develop corrective and preventive actions.

  • Support the collection and analysis of production data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.

  • Contribute to process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.

  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma projects, under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of small-scale projects related to production optimization or new product introductions.

  • Ad-hoc assignment from Superior from time to time.
